LIA and BSI Group in New Agreement

The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) and the BSI Group (British Standards Institution) are pleased to announce a new agreement which will allow customers of both organisations to benefit from their expertise and specialisms.

The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) and the BSI Group (British Standards Institution) are pleased to announce a new agreement which will allow customers of both organisations to benefit from their expertise and specialisms.

 

This agreement gives lighting manufactures a clear and efficient route to obtaining a variety of product UK, EU and world-wide approvals through the LIA Laboratory including the BSI Kitemark™ one of the most recognised symbols of quality and safety throughout the world.

 

Steve Davies, LIA CEO commented “This agreement cements the position of LIA Laboratory as the leading provider for testing and certification within the lighting industry and we are proud to be associated with BSI to support the sector.”

 

Greg Childs, Certification Team Manager from BSI concluded “With this agreement and relationship, the LIA join a small select group of organisations who meet the exacting standards required by BSI for the organisations that we work with. This new relationship will mean we can now have a truly joined up approach in offering services to the lighting industry including the prestigious BSI Kitemark.”
