Corporate planting and floristry experts Planteria Group have acquired competitor, Jungleworld, to become one of the UK's largest privately-owned plant services companies.

Explaining how the acquisition will leverage both companies' wealth of experience and strong client bases, Planteria Managing Director Matt Anderson, said:

"Jungleworld complements our current operations and will increase staff numbers at our conveniently-located head office near Stansted by 20 per cent, resulting in a more comprehensive offering geographically for our floristry services.

"The acquisition also augments our buying power and strengthens our presence within the hospitality market sector in a seamless transition".

Anderson added: "We purchased our head office in 1996 with ambitious expansion goals in mind and have ample space available for the future expansion of our business.”

Both companies will operate under their existing brand names for the foreseeable future.
