EMCOR in BAE Systems FM Contract Award

EMCOR UK has secured an eight-year contract to support the BAE Systems Typhoon Total Availability eNterprise (TyTAN) contract at RAF Coningsby and RAF Lossiemouth.

The contract which entered its start-up phase in April 2018, sees EMCOR UK providing a range of hard and soft facilities management (FM) services to the defence contractor and UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), that includes mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance, cleaning, ground works, fabric protection, CAD and project works.


The company will also be implementing services at the Typhoon Maintenance Facility (TMF), Typhoon Support Centre (TSC), Typhoon Training Facility (TTF) and Typhoon Management Operations Centre (TMOC). The TyTAN contract sees BAE Systems, Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), and the RAF supporting the UK Typhoon fleet 


EMCOR UK has been delivering FM services to RAF Coningsby, home to the UK's Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) fleet of Typhoon fighter aircraft, since 2006.
