FM Expo, the largest event dedicated to the Middle East's facilities management industry, has officially opened at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) today.

Now in its fourteenth edition, the event's opening ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline Group, and Chairman of  Dubai Airports.

This year's event will host more than 50 exhibitors, including Imdaad, Ejadah, Boecker, eFM, FSI Middle East, ZOLL, Evac+Chair and Dussmann - all of whom will be showcasing the latest industry solutions at stands within an all-new 'Theatre of Inspiration'.

FM Expo focuses on technology, support services, cleaning, waste and recycling, and energy management.

Paddy O’Neil, FM EXPO project manager, says:

"As a result of digitalisation and innovation in service delivery and integration, there is continuing demand for a dedicated platform that brings facilities management professionals together.

"With a wealth of features this year, there is ample opportunity for visitors to browse and trade the latest solutions on the market, and to discuss current trends and challenges in the industry."

"Educating employees about these technologies contributes to growth as it plays a huge role in shaping the future trends and success in the sector. All companies are obligated to ensure their staff are up to speed and able to explore various options with a view to adopting them to best serve facilities."
