JLL has promoted Mary Bilbrey, Chief HR Officer (CHRO) Americas, as its new Global CHRO in an appointment that takes effect on 1 February.

Bilbrey succeeds Trish Maxson, who will continue to serve as Chief Administrative Officer and interim Chief Financial Officer (a position she assumed following Christie Kelly's resignation in September 2018).

Prior to joining JLL, Bilbrey held senior HR positions HSBC in Europe and the United States (including Head of Human Resources for HSBC USA).

A graduate of Illinois State University who holds a Master's degree in Industrial Relations from Loyola University of Chicago, Bilbrey sits on the governing bod of the Chicago CHRO Leadership Summit.

Commenting on the appointment, Maxson, said:

"In working with Mary over the past three years, I have seen first-hand her ability to bring transformational human resources best practices and innovations to the business. She is dedicated to developing a highly talented and engaged workforce, which will continue to enable our Beyond growth strategy and contribute to JLL's success now and into the future."
