Serco to Provide Fire and Rescue at EDF Hinkley Point C Site

Serco has been awarded a contract by EDF Energy to provide fire and rescue services during the construction phase of Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear power station. The Service will start on 1 October 2018 and has a total contract value of approximately £6.5 million over six years.

STULZ and Cloud&Heat Launch Global Partnership

STULZ, has announced a new strategic partnership with Cloud&Heat Technologies, a specialist in energy-efficient, scalable and reliable data centers. As part of this new technical and sales alliance, the hot water direct cooling system developed by Dresden-based Cloud&Heat is to be marketed in future as an equipment option for the STULZ MicroDC series.

Enigma Industrial Services Acquires Interserve's Access and Hard Services Business

Interserve is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to sell its Infrastructure and Industrial access and hard services business to Enigma Industrial Services Holdings Ltd via Interserve Industrial Services Limited ("IISL") for cash consideration of approximately £3.6 million with the potential for further cash consideration of £1 million subject to the Business achieving certain financing targets for the financial years 2018 and 2019.

Regaining Control of IoT-Connected Assets

Independent business consultancy IBC Group today launched its Smart Asset Maps service, enabling organisations to map all their IoT-connected assets onto Google Maps, feeding in live data which provides a single view of the estate. The service will enable channel partners to expand their understanding of their clients’ business and add value by providing insight into operations of the organisation that are often not visible.
