Medirest, the healthcare division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, will continue to provide St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Merseyside with portering, security, receptionist, retail, and patient catering services using the innovative Steamplicity cooking concept - which offers poached salmon, vegetarian Cottage Pie and fish and chips as meal options, following the extension of its facilities management contract from June.
