Datapath Appoints VP Global Sales

Visual solutions company Datapath has appointed David Griffiths as its Vice-President of Global Sales.

 

Griffiths who worked for visual, audio and collaboration solutions company Christie Digital for over 25 years, was trained by the UK Military as an Electronics Engineer and has experience of  hardware, as well as software, design. Most recently, he headed up Christie’s Enterprise sales and technical groups.

 

In his new role Griffiths  will take overall charge of Datapath’s international sales teams who have their own regional managers and operations in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.

 

Announcing the appointment, Bjorn Krylander, Datapath managing director, said: "The current global situation requires the best team to lead us forward. This is a key management position for us and we are delighted that we have acquired the highest possible calibre with David’s appointment. He has excellent insight of our key markets, comprehensive technical knowledge, and a broad industry network. We welcome him to our senior management team where he will be a strong asset to our continued global growth."

 

Griffiths added: "Datapath’s expertise in video processing and management is known and respected the world over. 

"With exciting new products on the horizon, in addition to Datapath’s excellent current offering, I am looking forward to working with my new global colleagues and achieving great things together."
