Appointment of Business Development Manager

Appointments, EMEA, Supplier News, Supply Chain Management, United Kingdom

UK supply chain risk management consultancy CHAS has appointed Sharron Parsons-Shepherd as business development manager.

Parsons-Shepherd brings extensive experience in business development and emergency communication solution sales to the role having spent 18 1/2 years at PageOne Communications, the provider of multi-channel mobile messaging and critical alerting solutions.

During her time there she was responsible for developing new business at the same time as managing the existing client base, which spanned public and private sectors as well as third party agreements. This included ensuring that customers received appropriate technical, installation and training support. She was formerly with former telecommunications company Global Crossing and network infrastructure specialist, FNS.

Working alongside the company's existing business development manager, Parsons-Shepherd assumes responsibility for promoting, selling and developing the CHAS range of services to public and private sector organisations, with Sharron focusing on the North West, Yorkshire and The Humber and North East regions of the United Kingdom.

CHAS managing director, Ian McKinnon comments: "Sharron is an excellent addition to the CHAS team with a wealth of experience in the emergency communications and telecommunications sector which will be invaluable as CHAS continues to expand."
