Renowned Global Workplace Innovator Joins JLL

JLL has named workplace thought leader Dr. Marie Puybaraud as Global Head of Research for the firm's Corporate Solutions business. Based in Paris, Dr. Puybaraud will spearhead leading-edge research on the entire corporate real estate life cycle, including the built environment, facilities management and workplace management.

"Dr. Puybaraud's expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver groundbreaking insights to our corporate and public institution clients," said Vincent Lottefier, JLL's Global Director and CEO, Corporate Solutions, EMEA. "We have unrivaled knowledge and expertise in real estate outsourcing, and I am confident that, under Dr. Puybaraud's direction, our knowledge base will continue to grow through innovative thinking and deep engagement with our clients and industry partners."

With nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Puybaraud is recognized worldwide as a workplace innovator and thought leader, with citations in more than 800 news stories and published studies. She joins JLL from Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions, where she directed a team providing applied research services aimed at understanding workplace challenges, monitoring trends, and sourcing innovative ideas and systems to improve how teams work and collaborate.

At JLL, Dr. Puybaraud will focus on providing insights to corporations and public institutions, leading the firm's global research team in understanding how people, places and processes can come together to advance the performance of organizations. She will also join JLL's Global Research Executive Committee.

Dr. Puybaraud holds a PhD in operational engineering and fire safety management from Heriot Watt University, UK; a post-graduate certificate (PGCert) in teaching in higher education from Oxford Brookes University, UK; a BSc with honors in building management, from University of Central Lancashire, UK; and a degree in building economics and quantity surveying from LETP Cantau France. She is a member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and CoreNet Global, and on the committee of CoreNet Global France Networking Group.
