Six Prestigious Safety Awards for EMCOR UK
Leading facilities management provider EMCOR UK has recently been presented with six top safety awards from two of the UK’s most prestigious safety organisations, RoSPA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) and the British Safety Council, recognising the company for its significant focus on health and safety management.
EMCOR UK received a Gold Medal Award in RoSPA’s 2017 annual scheme, recognising the company for achieving a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk, and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
RoSPA also presented EMCOR UK with four additional awards for its work with its customers, recognising its commitment to keeping employees safe at work, and continuing to maintain an excellent health and safety record. A Gold Medal Award was presented for work with BAE Systems and PHE Porton Down. A Gold Award was presented for work with United Utilities and Thames Water.
Furthermore, EMCOR UK received a 2017 International Safety Award from the British Safety Council, in recognition of the company’s high standard of health and safety management.
These recent safety awards are in addition to the 33 awards EMCOR UK has been presented in the last 15 years, recognising the company’s continuing excellence in this area.
