A shining light: Louise Auty, head of supply chain management for Renaissance.
From Chocolate to Curtain Accessories
Louise Auty is bringing more than two decades of experience in supply chain management in her latest appointment as Head of Supply Chain Management for curtain accessories outfit, Renaissance.
With more than 20 years' experience with sports equipment, chocolate and baby lotion manufacturers, she is well placed to contribute to the Yorkshire firm’s latest growth strategy.
Louise joins Guiseley based Renaissance from a career with Dunlop, Nestle and Johnson and Johnson with a remit to source new products, ensure quality and supplier performance and manage stock at the company’s Leeds headquarters.
Her appointment is the latest in a series by the Yorkshire based firm which supplies tracks, poles and blinds to the retail, design and commercial sectors around the UK.
Renaissance has also appointed Matt Grimshaw as internal customer service and IT support manager. He brings a wealth of technical understanding that will help the business utilise data to propel it into growing continental markets.
Rolf Smaldon is General Manager. He said: “Renaissance is ambitious to grow sales in existing and new markets and that demands a more professional handle on our products, systems and processes.
“In Louise we have someone who understands the complete supply chain and procurement brief and will manage it based on real time data. I am delighted that someone with a background in the discipline will be managing sourcing, purchasing and stock levels of products. She can’t do that without good quality data and Matt will be able to provide IT support to our team in terms of systems and processes as we update our ERPS.
“Both are joining us at an exciting time for Renaissance.”
