    FCC Environment Awarded Bilbao City Council Contract

    Bilbao City Council has awarded a JV in which FCC has the majority shareholding, the city's street cleaning and refuse collection contract which includes handling waste from Mercabilbao for four years.

    FCC Inaugurates Dallas Materials Recycling Facility

    FCC has officially inaugurated Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) in the city of Dallas, Texas. The event was attended by the Mayor of Dallas, Mike Rawlings, as well as representatives from municipal authorities.

    Work Commences on Edinburgh and Midlothian’s Energy-from-Waste Plant

    P3 Bulletin Award for Dallas Recycling Facility

    FCC Environmental Services, the US subsidiary of the global environmental services group FCC, has received the P3 Bulletin Award for the single-stream Material Recovery Facility (MRF) on the McCommas Bluff Landfill site in southern Dallas, Texas, in the category "Best Waste/Energy/Water Project".

    Royal Opening for Energy from Waste (EfW) Facility

    The Greatmoor Energy from Waste (EfW) facility near Aylesbury was officially opened yesterday by HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO. The 30-year contract was awarded in 2013 and represents an order book value of £920.4 million (€1.027 billion).

    Financial Close on £450 Million Edinburgh Waste Contract

    FCC Environment, through its subsidiary FCC Environment UK, has been awarded the Zero Waste: Edinburgh and Midlothian contract under which the company will manage and process up to 155,000 tons per year of residual waste from the City of Edinburgh Council and Midlothian Council.
