Hire Awards of Excellence 2019

Newburn Power Rental has been nominated as a finalist in three categories at the forthcoming Hire Awards of Excellence organised by Hire Association Europe (HAE).

The specialist supplier of power solutions to the construction and facilities management (FM) received a nomination for the “SafeHire Company of the Year” category, which is reserved for companies that have demonstrated the highest degree of compliance with the SafeHire Standard for improving the health, safety and wellbeing of their workforce and end-users of equpiment.

Employees, Mark Dearnaley and Kieran Brown, have also been nominated respectively for awards in the “Workshop Manager of the Year” and “Hire Manager of the Year” categories, which recognise individuals who practice the highest standards within the the plant and tool hire industry.

Commenting on the nominations, Newburn’s managing director, Mark Henstock, said:

“I am delighted we have been recognised as a company that excels, particularly against the stringent criteria set by the SafeHire assessors. 

“To have two of our team acknowledged in the individual categories is testament to their skill and their commitment to our own standards, and we look forward to acknowledging and celebrating their hard work at the awards ceremony.”

Hire Association Europe (HAE) is the industry-leading trade association for Europe’s plant and tool hire sector.  HAE members regularly take part in technical panels to review and develop new practices that impact on the sector, helping to keep them at the forefront of the plant and equipment industry. 

Hosted by Strictly Come Dancing star and TV presenter Anton Du Beke, the 2019 Hire Awards of Excellence will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Saturday 13th April.
