Millennium Point Security Contract

Amulet – the security business of Churchill Group, has won a three-year contract to provide concierge, front-of-house and event management services at the Millennium Point multi-use auditorium, flexible workspace and meeting complex venue in Birmingham.

The venue which is owned by the Millennium Point Charitable Trust houses several tenants including the award-winning Thinktank science museum, and Birmingham City University (BCU).

The contract commenced on 1st April following a competitive tender process.

Discussing the award, Linda Degg, Facilities Director at Millennium Point, said:

“Amulet presented a very strong tender which demonstrated enthusiasm and a deep understanding of our organisation. Its core values echo our own as a charitable trust, which supports science, technology, engineering and maths. We’re delighted to have them on board.”

Darren Read, Amulet managing director, commented:

“Millennium Point is a unique multi-use venue and as such it needs the support of a security partner that understands the different levels of security to be provided. Amulet has the knowledge and experience to provide the broad range of services that Millennium Point requires. I am delighted to have this opportunity to develop and grow our service together.”
