Cloud Centre of Excellence
Getronics have partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) managed services provider HeleCloud to launch a new Cloud Centre of Excellence for AWS-based solutions.

The partnership will focus initially on Europe where Getronics maintains a presence in multiple European enterprises and mid-market businesses, and focus on the retail, travel and transportation, financial services, and healthcare sectors.

Solutions delivered from the new Cloud Centre of Excellence will be organised into seven areas of competence which have been identified by their potential to assist businesses as cloud services gain in popularity:
- Cloud Roadmap & Migration
- Cloud Security, Compliance & Governance
- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Big Data & Analytics
- Managed Infrastructure
- Managed Security & Compliance
- Cloud Technical Design Authority
Commenting on the development, Getronics Group Vice Chairman, Mark Cook, said:

Getronics which is already a Microsoft Azure partner will continue to deliver private and hybrid cloud solutions from its own hosted private cloud platforms in 19 data centres across Europe and North America.
