ABM Retains London City Hall Contract

The Greater London Authority (GLA) has re-awarded the contract to deliver housekeeping, cleaning, porterage, hygiene and laundry services at the iconic City Hall building to ABM UK.

Under a new five-year contract, ABM will continue a collaboration which has helped embed sustainable practices at the GLA. These include transitioning to water-based cleaning solutions and products.

Commenting on ABM UK’s successful re-tendering, managing director, John McPherson, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to have retained this contract and to be paying the London Living Wage as a minimum to each member of the team.

“We look forward to working closely with the GLA to provide an adaptable, customer-focused service which ensures that its staff and visitors experience a safe, clean and well-run environment.”
