Sector-First ISO 45001:2018 Accreditation
Cordant Security is the first security company to achieve ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational health and safety management systems) certification.
Auditors visited 20 company locations and spoke to 42 licence holders and 15 members of the management team, during an assessment that also recertified Cordant Group’s security business to the ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems) standards.
Discussing the health and safety management systems certification, Cordant Group Quality Risk and Compliance Director, Mark Elton, said:
“Congratulations to everyone involved across the business. This is a fantastic achievement we should all be proud of.
“The challenge does not stop, however, and we will always strive to improve and make our work as safe as we possibly can.”
