Georgia Tech Selects Aramark

The Georgia Institute of Technology has appointed Aramark as its new on-campus dining services provider with effect from 1st July.

The contract follows a collaborative Request for Proposal (RFP) process which included input from students and the university’s faculty and staff.

Under the terms of the contract, Aramark will utilize new technologies to streamline foodservice delivery and reduce waiting times, and introduce more creative menu options that will be developed in partnership with local celebrity chefs and restauranteurs, with a focus on quality, healthy eating, convenience and personalization.

Aramark will additionally oversee the renovation of the university’s dining facilities and create new initiatives centered on sustainability.

Announcing the contract, Georgia Institute of Technology Associate Vice President for Campus Services, Kasey Helton, said:

“We are excited to work with Aramark to improve food service opportunities for the campus community.

“The collaboration will transform the dining program while maintaining high-quality standards, reasonably priced options and a variety that support the diverse needs of the Tech community.”
