Creating 500 Jobs in South Carolina

Getronics has announced it will establish a new, 32,000 sq. ft, global customer service center in Greenville County, South Carolina.

Operating with 250 analysts and support personnel initially, the center is expected to expand to 500 service desk associates, and will handle requests for support from more than 250,000 clients in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

The technology company has received industry recognition for the quality of its managed workplace services and end-user support capabilities in North America and Europe.

Announcing the initiative, Getronics Chairman and CEO, Nana Baffour, said:

“We will be making a significant investment in our people, our customers, and our Greenville community, and are excited because we have been able to significantly expand our workforce and operations.

“The new, state-of-the-art facilities will enhance our ability to support Getronics clients throughout North America and the rest of the world.

“For many years, Greenville has been both a wonderful community and home to our associates.”

Governor of South Carolina, Henry McMaster, added:

“Getronics is a world-class company and it speaks volumes that they decided to locate this high-tech operation right here in South Carolina.

“This announcement is yet more testimony to the state’s strong business climate.”
