Amsterdam Cycle Ride Supports Baby Unit
A team from Artic Building Services has joined other cyclists in a gruelling 344-mile charity bike ride to Amsterdam.
Braving torrential downpours, flash floods and serious falls, the team raised over £6,500 out of a total of £52,000.
Donations will support the purchase of a new 3D Hologic Breast Scanner for the ‘Little Buds’ Special Baby Care unit at the Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent.
Riders included fathers of premature babies who have been cared for by the baby unit, doctors, nurses, and members of the local community with ties to the hospital.
