The four-year contract which was awarded by competitive tender, will additionally deliver small works, including electrical installation condition reports and ductwork cleaning, with the mechanical and electrical (M&E) contractor also assuming responsibility for certifying site compliance with current gas, water hygiene and HVAC-R regulations.

Commenting on the award, G&H Maintenance director, David Ridsdale, said:

“We have worked with Leeds City College since 2011 and are delighted to have extended this relationship until 2022.

“We will continue to focus on delivering a strategic maintenance plan that will save the colleges money and mean their mechanical and electrical services are operating efficiently around the clock as several sites, including Leeds College of Music, open into the early hours during term-time.”
