Manhattan Loft Gardens Hard FM Contract

Polyteck Group has secured a contract to deliver hard FM services at the ground-breaking £250 million Manhattan Loft Gardens development in Stratford, East London.

Located between Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stratford International, Manhattan Loft Gardens is a new, 42-storey mixed use tower designed by high-rise architect specialists, SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill).

The Stratford Hotel and Lofts will comprise of 248 apartments, a 146-bedroom five-star hotel, three sky gardens and two restaurants, when it completes later this year – with the tower’s unique structure incorporating green space and fresh air to foster a dynamic community of residents and hotel guests.

London’s historic garden squares have been reimagined and carved into the form of the building at heights of 95, 280 and 400 feet, delivering panoramic views of the city skyline.

A triple-height lobby acts as a social hub, featuring a restaurant, bar and open piazza leading out to Stratford International. Custom-made facilities include a state-of-the-art gym, spa and cinema.

Polyteck was appointed by Manhattan Loft Gardens Limited for its extensive engineering expertise to provide mechanical & electrical services to residents and commercial units within the 143m (469ft) double-cantilevered structure. M&E services have already commenced on the project.

The deal further solidifies Polyteck’s position in the high-end residential market. Earlier this year, the UK-based company was awarded a multi-million pound five-year contract to provide a range of FM services at Beach Tower, a 34-storey luxury residential tower in the Qatari capital Doha.

Neil Wheadon, Polyteck operations director, said:

“We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting new development, which promises to bring next generation loft living to a thriving part of the capital.

“We are fast becoming recognised as the ‘go to’ company for high-end residential properties and our appointment is testament to our ability to deliver the quality and services levels that a scheme like Manhattan Loft Gardens undoubtedly deserves.”
