Anti-graffiti Road Signs
UK-based safety signage retailer SafetySigns4Less has added anti-graffiti coating options to its range of reflective traffic management signs.
Originating from the Greek word, graphienĀ (meaning: “to write”), Graffiti is an illegal offence carrying a maximum sentence of 10 years imprisonment and fines of up to Ā£2,500. However, threats of large sentences and expensive fines do not seem to deter those intent on making their mark with spray paint on property that does not belong to them. In London alone, it is estimated the cost of cleaning up graffiti is Ā£100 million per year.Ā Ā
The new anti-graffiti coating is available as a purchase option on all traffic management signs, with the coating which allows for graffiti to be easily cleaned off without damage to a signās surface, applied during manufacturing.
Anti-graffiti coating options will also be available for parking signs from Autumn 2019.
