FM Expo 2019

FM Expo, the largest event dedicated to the Middle East’s facilities management industry, has officially opened at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) today.

Now in its fourteenth edition, the event’s opening ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline Group, and Chairman of  Dubai Airports.

This year’s event will host more than 50 exhibitors, including Imdaad, Ejadah, Boecker, eFM, FSI Middle East, ZOLL, Evac+Chair and Dussmann – all of whom will be showcasing the latest industry solutions at stands within an all-new ‘Theatre of Inspiration’.

FM Expo focuses on technology, support services, cleaning, waste and recycling, and energy management.

Paddy O’Neil, FM EXPO project manager, says:

“As a result of digitalisation and innovation in service delivery and integration, there is continuing demand for a dedicated platform that brings facilities management professionals together.

“With a wealth of features this year, there is ample opportunity for visitors to browse and trade the latest solutions on the market, and to discuss current trends and challenges in the industry.”

Chris Roberts, CEO of Eltizam Asset Management (Tafawuq) – the sponsor of a series of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars at this year’s event, adds:

“We believe now is the time for our industry to harness new technologies in order to achieve efficiencies that lead to lower operating costs for asset owners, and this is a key reason for our partnership with FM Expo.

Several global and local thought leaders will be speaking in the FM Forum which forms part of the event, including Stephen Morris, Global Head of FM Sector at RICS, Arun Stanly, Senior Business Development Manager at Frost & Sullivan,Tolga Candan, Head of Strategic business Development, Al Futtaim Engineering &Technology, Alexander Kolpakov, Associate director for Digital Project Delivery at AECOM, and Suhail Arfath, Head of Consulting (Middle East & Turkey) for AutoDesk.

Major regional facility services provider, Imdaad, is also delivering its well-established Imdaad Work Series of seminars at its exhibition stand which also focuses on technology.

The second edition of the Waste & Recycling Summit which is co-hosted with the event is scheduled for 19th September.

5,000 industry professionals are expected to attend both events which are organised by global exhibition group, dmg events.
