Celebrating the Contribution of Cleaning Operatives
OCS Group UK staff have joined colleagues in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand to celebrate the outstanding contribution of cleaning operatives on Thank Your Cleaner Day™ for a second successive year.
Originating in New Zealand in 2015 and now in its fifth year, Thank Your Cleaner Day™ is a chance for businesses around the world to show cleaning personnel appreciation for the hard work they carry out every day to make sure premises, working and living environments are kept clean, safe, hygienic and ready to go for the next business day.
Working in partnership with 21 customers that represent every UK business sector, OCS UK (part of the largest family-owned facilities management services company in the world) will deliver thank you cards to 2,200 cleaning operatives who have been nominated by customers for delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards. Cleaning operatives have been selected by the customers they have built relationships with and whose sites they take care of.
Customers including British Airways, GKN Aerospace, KBR, Landmark, The Home Office and The Malls, Basingstoke will recognise cleaning operatives at 28 sites across the country. Customers were also asked to nominate a cleaning operative at their site who was worthy of extra recognition, and these nominees will be presented with certificates and gift vouchers on the day.
