KCOM TFM Contract
Communications services provider KCOM has appointed B38 Group to provide a full range of property support and facilities services across its sites throughout the UK.
One of the country’s longest established providers of communications services, KCOM is headquartered in Kingston upon Hull and serves residents and businesses with internet and telephone services. It has seven offices located in Hull, Wakefield, Exeter, Ipswich, London and Hemel Hempstead, as well as 113 network sites.
Wakefield-based B38 Group was awarded a 36-month contract following a competitive tender. The company will provide a total facilities management (TFM) service including technical building services such as maintenance of fire alarms, lifts and dry risers. The provision extends to cleaning, catering and waste management services.
Announcing the contract award, Mark Blenkinsop, Head of Estates and Facilities at KCOM, said:
