Newbury Racecourse Contract

OCS Group UK has been selected to provide cleaning and customer services at Newbury Racecourse under a three-year contract which commences immediately.

The contract will see OCS provide all cleaning services, including laundry, office cleaning, and venue cleaning on racedays and during other events and conferences held at the site. It also includes provision of customer services such as cloakroom services and customer hosting at the racecourse, offices, on-site nursery, and accommodation for jockeys and workers.

Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire is over 100 years old and as well as a programme of racedays throughout the year, Newbury hosts conferences and weddings, and has an on-site hotel and nursery. Newbury partnered with OCS after receiving positive testimonies from existing clients and shared social values.

Jeremy Dicks, director of venues and events at OCS, says:

“Newbury is the first racecourse OCS has had the pleasure of working with and we’re excited by the challenge of working with such a unique venue. On racedays there is such a buzz around the venue among customers and staff, and we look forward to contributing to a memorable experience for all involved.”

Lucy Hayes, head of operations at Newbury Racecourse, adds:

“We were drawn to working with OCS because of its demonstrated commitment to a personal touch. Customer experience is hugely important to us and we were looking for more than a business partnership – we wanted a relationship with a company that shares our goals and values. OCS was the clear choice and we look forward to beginning this journey together.”
