UAE Pizza Express Contract
Polyteck Group has won a contract to provide maintenance and FM services for Pizza Express owner Jordana Group in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The contract for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works includes regular servicing and annual deep chemical cleaning of fan coil units and air conditioning units, as well as reactive callouts for air conditioning, electrical and plumbing needs.
The company has introduced new and innovative technologies to reduce client electricity usage and improve operational efficiencies. These include the SolarCool system and a dedicated Internet of Things (IoT) network.
Services will be delivered at Pizza Express Live Restaurant Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai. Jordana Group is the owner and operator of Pizza Express UAE and operates 14 restaurants in the region.
Polyteck was initially brought in by consultants Chapman BDSP to rectify issues with the district cooling network system at Pizza Express but has since been taken on to operate its services more widely across the business. Polyteck now advises Pizza Express UAE on MEP matters across all its restaurants.
Commenting on the contract, George Polycarpou, Polyteck managing director, said:
“Our initial enquiry through Chapman BDSP has seen us forge a long-term relationship with Pizza Express restaurants, which is a ringing endorsement for our services and team.
“It has also led to Polyteck becoming a recommended contractor for any client that requires assistance with Empower Chilled Water Services and metering. We are delighted to have expanded our operations in this region and look forward to working with Jordana Group.”
