Supporting the NHS

Artic Building Services are supporting the NHS’s fightback against the COVID-19 pandemic by continuing to undertake repairs and provide essential maintenance support in hospitals.

The company which provides facilities management to several NHS sites in London and the South East of England is making additional resources available to clinical teams and key workers, including HVAC maintenance and support with electromechanical equipment.

Artic is also providing cover for NHS engineering staff who are unable to attend work through illness or self-isolation, and will be add to its existing teams.

All staff deployed on NHS sites are following strict guidance on each Trusts individual protocol.  All engaged engineers are also in possession of written authorisation from NHS sites and following enhanced safety measures that include wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE).

Paul Lucas, managing director, says:

“I have been in the Facilities Management Industry for 20 years and have never had to put such measures in place.

“I am so proud of my team and the incredible job they are doing.”
