Free Downloadable Covid-19 Test Cabin Design
Award-winning global furniture brand, Nurus, has released a novel Covid-19 mobile test cabin design, together with material specs and assembly instructions, without charge.
Designed by Nurus partner, Renan Gökyay and industrial design apprentice, Serhat Ünlü, with prototyping support from the company’s in-house Nurus Design Lab, each unit features two booths for simultaneous testing, and an isolated area which allows healthcare professionals to work in safety.
Units support up to 400 test processes when connected to a pressurised air feed, and utilise aluminium to withstand the rigours associated with continuous disinfection processes.
The brief was to support the global fight against COVID-19 by designing and engineering a mobile unit that could be fabricated and assembled easily in compliance with current global health and privacy regulations.
