Online Mental Health First Aid Courses (20 May & 27 May, 2020)

FM Industry event partner Green Light is offering an online interactive mental health awareness course developed by Mental Health First Aid England for organisations and individuals on two dates in May.

In addition to challenging the stigma that often attaches to discussions aboutĀ mental health, the course will provide an introduction toĀ common mental health issues and provide participants with the tools they need to determineĀ their ownĀ mental health needs andĀ  maintain wellbeing.

It is particularly suited to employees who support other peopleĀ in distress, or who may, themselves,Ā be experiencing a mental health issue and wish to better understand their condition.

OnĀ completion, participants will receive aĀ Certificate of Attendance confirmingĀ they areĀ ‘Mental Health Aware’, a reference manual, and aĀ workbook and help/self-help toolkit toĀ supportĀ better mental health (postal delays as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic means materials will be released on the resumption ofĀ airmail services in the UK, although participants can request special delivery by courier – contactĀ Green Light for courier fees).
