Technologiepark Bergisch Gladbach (TBG) Awards IFM Contract

STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) has secured a three-year contract from Beos AG to provide integrated facilities management services at Technologiepark Bergisch Gladbach (TBG), approximately 10km east of Cologne.

Under the terms of the contract, the company will assume responsibility for hard FM services including maintenance and servicing of all buildings on the site, as well as the provision of winter services and landscaping. Services will be delivered, predominantly, by an in-house team and staff located permanently onsite.

The technology park in the Cologne metropolitan region (Cologne is the largest city in the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia), comprises 35 buildings and boasts a total rental space of 74,600 m². It includes office, logistics and production spaces occupied by a diverse tenant base representing an equally diverse mix of industries; as well as over 1,500 parking spaces. At the southern end, there is a retail area with a large DIY store. In total, there are currently 140 commercial tenants employing around 2,000 employees.

Dirk Brandt, STRABAG PFS managing director, says: “We are delighted with this new order. We have gained a discerning client in BEOS AG, which expects high-quality services and appreciates our innovative solutions.”
