3M Touch Products to be Made “End of Life”

3M is exiting its 3M touch systems business and discontinuing production of all Surface Capacitive (SCT) and Projected Capacitive (PCAP) displays.

3M’s touch systems business (which previously traded as Microtouch), has been a leading manufacturer and supplier of display products for multiple key applications including gaming, kiosks, EPOS and ATMs for over three decades.

UK customers can place last time buy orders with 3M distributor, Crystal Display Systems Ltd (CDS), until 31st October 2020, with final shipments to be dispatched no later than 31st March 2021. Last time buy orders through CDS will be non-cancellable and non-returnable.
