Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) TFM Contract

Derwent Facilities Management has been selected to deliver a suite of integrated services under a £8 million five-year total facilities management contract with the Arts University Bournemouth (AUB).

First established as a specialist art institution in 1885, AUB is listed as a ‘Top 50’ UK tertiary education provider by The Complete University Guide 2021 and The Sunday Times Good University Guide.

The contract covers the entire AUB campus comprising of 19 buildings and grounds – including the Madeira Road halls of residence which host 378 students, and a new halls of residence for 299 students that are currently being built on the site on the campus.

Under the terms of the contract, AUB has retained an option to extend the contract by up to a further two years.

Services to be provided include cleaning, security, grounds maintenance, pest control, M&E services, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and other soft services for students, staff and the university’s halls of residence.
