Protecting a Tourism Project from Fire

A specialist glazing installation is protecting the guests and staff of a hotel in the Red Sea resort of Ayla Marina Village in Aqaba, Jordan.

The installation of WSL 50 series FR doors and partitions which provide 120 minutes of fire protection follows the award of a contract to glazing specialist Wrightstyle, and follows other, similar projects completed using the company’s solutions in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the Lebanon.

Ayla Marina Village is transforming a small stretch of coastline into a tourist hotspot, with retail outlets, residential apartments, restaurants and bars.  It will also have an international golf course, man-made lagoons opening to the Gulf of Aqaba, and the largest marina in Jordan.

Wrightstyle director, Jane Embury, comments: “Our focus on guaranteed quality, from design through to safe supply, has made us a trusted partner on projects large and small.

“The trust our customers have in our systems underlines the specialist nature of the advanced glazing systems market”.
