Taking a Safer Interactive Journey
Global 3D wayfinding and digital signage solutions provider 22Miles has enhanced the Covid-safety of its interactive solutions with the addition of a touchless Secure Mobile Control (SMC) feature.
Available to users of the company’s Protection as a Service™ (PaaS) software solutions suite, SMC facilitates control of digital displays via any OS on a mobile device. and a dedicated QR code.
The solution eliminates hygiene risks and reduces physical touchpoints in public buildings across numerous industries and applications. Leveraging SMC supports social distancing by encouraging users to access important information from their own personal devices, rather than gathering and physically interacting with digital signage and displays, such as wayfinding in shopping or transportation centers, visitor kiosk check-ins for healthcare or hospitality facilities, and others.
SMC can be easily and quickly added to existing displays such as video walls or kiosks running 22Miles’ Publisher Pro software, with support for third party OS systems, to enable a wide range of capabilities, fast setup and implementation. With the Publisher Pro software, administrators can easily and remotely customize and update signage at any time.
22Miles EVP, Tomer Mann, explains: “The pandemic has impacted the way that businesses of all sizes, and across all industries, function. As more buildings open and confront fluctuating needs post-pandemic, it’s critical that they are able to inform their publics while also keeping them safe.
“We’ve received positive feedback on the PaaS software suite and its ability to support the changing landscape that businesses and organizations now face. By making the SMC feature free, we’re eager to support existing and new customers in their quest to make accessibility and communications more streamlined and safe, reduce physical touchpoints, and ultimately, contribute to business continuity post-pandemic.”
