Supporting Children’s Welfare
Compass Group has announced a partnership with From Babies with Love which funds care of orphaned and abandoned children, as the UN celebrates World Children’s Day 2020.
From Babies with Love is a pioneering social enterprise organisation that sells beautiful, ethical baby gifts and clothes, with all profits going to support orphaned and abandoned children across the world. They partner with charities across the globe to provide family homes, education, healthcare and support to overcome trauma.
Amanda Scott, Talent and Learning Director at Compass Group UK & Ireland, comments:
“We’ve partnered with them to celebrate the journey of parenthood and send a beautiful gift to new parents when their baby arrives. As a family-friendly organisation, we want our colleagues to know how appreciated they are and support them at this important moment in their lives.
“We’re proud to be working with From Babies with Love to do some good. This is one of our initiatives to show that we care and we’re also offering additional, practical benefits for parents who are returning from maternity or adoption leave, such as additional holiday to celebrate their little one’s first birthday; two extra holiday days during their first year back and the option of extending the maternity leave period from 52 weeks, for an additional three months.
“We are lucky to be an organisation rich in diversity and celebrating and supporting this is one of our key priorities. Supporting parents is something that we’re passionate about and these commitments are some of the ways in which we demonstrate this. So, on World Children’s Day we want to celebrate all those little bundles of joy in our Compass family, as well helping to support children across the world who are very much in need.”
