Driving Workplace Inclusivity

INvolve, the global network and consultancy championing diversity and inclusion in business, has named Jonathan Foot, Compass Group Head of Apprenticeships and managing director Robin Mills in its annual lists.

The lists celebrate individuals across the globe who are driving change for inclusion in the workplace and beyond. It includes business leaders and allies who are breaking down barriers and creating more inclusive workplaces.

Foot is included on the Future Leaders LGBT+ list. He is Co-Chair for Compass’ Pride in Food network (LGBT+) and also sits on the Women In Food network. Having worked at Compass for over three years, Jonathan has been recognised for spearheading D&I within the business. He supports the LGBT+ agenda by organising campaigns, initiatives, seminars and events to communicate and engage with Compass’ people, supply chains, partners and customers – sharing best practice and celebrating LGBT+ communities.

Mills appears as a “Top 50 Ally” on INvolve’s Executive list in acknowledgment of his commitment to further ingrain equality within the company’s culture by relaunching initiatives such as the LGBT+ Pride in Food network, and developing internal training for employees to enhance diversity and opportunities for all. His entry on the list, states: “D&I [Diversity and Inclusion] is a priority for Robin and he empowers his team members – to create meaningful, long-term change.”

Foot comments: “Compass is committed to creating an environment where people are supported to be themselves at work – it is how our people thrive and develop. We put diversity and inclusion high on the agenda and our work with Pride in Food, supporting our LGBT+ community has been a huge focus over the past few years, so it’s great to see that work recognised in this way.”
