Educating Kids About Bugs
Terminix has reimagined and relaunched the Harry’s Big Adventure educational program it developed with the Audubon Nature Institute to teach K-6 grade elementary school children in the United States about bugs.
Originally launched in the noughties with an educational IMAX film released in 50+ major U.S. markets, traveling exhibit hosted at science centers and children’s museums nationwide, and custom-developed life science curriculum – complete with lesson plans approved by the National Science Teaching Association, the program has now been adapted to remote learning as many children continue to learn virtually during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition to virtual school visits by educators and technical experts, the relaunched program features extensive online educational resources which are available at www.HarrysBigAdventure.com.
