United for a Hunger-Free World (11 March)

Stop Hunger, Sodexo’s initiative to support charities tackling food poverty in more than 40 countries, will hold its first virtual event on 11 March at 7.00pm Central European Time (CET).

The event is being organised under the theme, “United for a Hunger-Free World”, and will feature speakers from humanitarian and aid organisations and their partners, as well as Sophie Bellon (Sodexo Chair), Denis Machuel (Chair of Stop Hunger and Sodexo CEO), and multiple other contributors including 2020 Nobel Peace Prize winner David Beasley, Executive Director of the World Food Programme, Virginia Villar Arribas, Deputy Director of Private Partnerships at WFP, Patrice Douret, President of Les Restos du Coeur – the largest foodbank in France, and Tina Kieffer, President of NGO, Happy Chandara in Cambodia.
