Enhancing Small Building Fire Protection
Siemens Smart Infrastructure has upgraded Cerberus FIT, its addressable fire system for small and medium-sized buildings.
The new version features auto configuration and an on-board web server to allow technicians to install, commission and maintain systems easily.
A 2-loop fire control panel uses intelligent signal processing to connect up to 252 devices, with a delayed alarm function allowing staff sufficient time to identify what an alarm is about in order to assess the situation.
Compliant with EN 54-23, the solution is particularly suited to he needs of businesses that occupy smaller buildings where disturbances present an issue, such as hotels, kindergartens and nursing homes.
