London Docklands Guest Services Contract

Bennett Hay has secured a 3-year contract to manage the guest services and workplace experience at Harbour Exchange, HX, the London Dockland’s home of more than 70 diverse businesses.

 

From this month, Bennett Hay will be responsible for bringing to life HX’s vibrant brand through its guest centric services, sustainable practices and focus on technology to meet the needs of the post-covid workplace.

 

Bennett Hay will manage buildings HX1 and HX2 in the heart of the 9-acre landscaped campus and offer a combined 500,000SF of space – along with vehicle parking, bike facilities and other associated facilities.

 

The company will operate its hallmark, ‘blended services’ approach to managing the buildings and will replicate HX’s values through uniform styling, activations in the buildings and concierge services for individuals working in the spaces. 

 

Anthony Bennett, co-founder, comments: “We’re delighted to be helping HX especially in this new era for office space. We’re planning to create a vibrant environment backed by a 360-service culture while obviously ensuring that all of the protocols are in place for the return to work. The office experience is still evolving as we all start to gradually return to a central function.

 

“Through our insights and experience we will develop HX into a destination and culture where people are confident, happy and looked after and therefore they look forward to visiting. Additionally, the HX estate lends itself to events and we will be bringing in to play our event management service offering activations to engage occupiers, create experiences and welcome people back.”

 

Bennett Hay was one of the first organisations in the UK to create a ‘Happiness Officer’, whose focus is to bring workplace experiences and clients’ corporate cultures to life through community engagement, and has built a  portfolio of offices and estates where the company oversees facilities and guest experiences. Clients include Landsec, St Katharine Docks, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Savills.

 

The privately owned organisation has also regularly held a place in the Best Places to Work in Hospitality in recent years.
