Celebrating Hispanic and Latinx Culinary Talent

Aramark is recognising the contribution of Hispanic and Latino American employees through two initiatives dedicated to Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States.

Launched by Congressman George E. Brown in 1968 in appreciation of the cultural and economic contribution of U.S. citizens whose families originated from Mexico, Spain, the Caribbean and South-Central America, Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) is marked annually from 15 September to 15 October.

HHM 30/30 Program

Since 2017, Aramark’s Impacto employee resource group (ERG) has selected thirty Hispanic and Latinx chefs as ‘honorees’ of a dedicated HHM 30/30 program that reflects the diverse culinary talent within the company.
