Sodexo Live! Awarded Paris 2024 Catering Contract
Sodexo Live! has been announced as an official catering partner to the athletes’ village at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
For a five-week period, the Sodexo Group subsidiary will deploy 1,000 people at the Village to serve 40,000 daily meals for 14,850 athletes from 206 Olympic delegations and 182 Paralympic delegations.
Launched in September to leverage the group’s catering expertise within the sports, events and hospitality sectors, Sodexo Live! will be tasked with contributing to the performance of athletes during the games by offering which is appropriate to the requirements of elite sport, creating a memorable experience that matches the uniqueness of the moment for participating athletes by working with celebrated chefs, Akrame Benallal, Amandine Chaignot and Alexandre Mazzia, and helping the organisers of Paris 2024 attain the event’s environmental and social targets.
The company will additionally provide catering services to visitors to some fifteen venues during the Paris 2024 competition.
