WeMaintain Announces Key Appointment

Sabina Enu-Kwesi has joined PropTech innovator WeMaintain from Otis Elevators as customer success manager.

Her appointment follows a €30 million Series B funding round by the company which is based in London, Paris and Singapore.

WeMaintain’s internet of things (IoT) platforms provide owners and operators of commercial and residential buildings with end-to-end critical maintenance solutions using rich sensor data controlled in the cloud.

Since its initial focus on elevators and escalators, the company has diversified into fire systems monitoring following its acquisition of fellow tech start-up, Shokly. Earlier this year, WeMaintain appointed a dedicated divisional Head at its fire division.

Ms Enu-Kwesi has a First-Class Degree in Business Psychology and trained as a lift engineer. In her post, she will be supporting WeMaintain’s active maintenance contracts to deliver smart solutions across the built environment. She says: “I am excited about my new path into operations, and I look forward to spending time in the field, building a positive relationship with stakeholders and delivering exceptional service to our customers and field engineers.”

WeMaintain co-founder, Jade Francine adds: “We welcome Sabina to our diverse team and we’re always keen to encourage more women into engineering and management positions. Sabina has the skills and experience to bring the best out of people and technology throughout our operations.”

Since launching in Paris in 2017, WeMaintain has been praised by President Emmanuel Macron for transforming the regulated maintenance market. Company clients in the UK include British Land, Workspace and KeolisAmey Docklands.
