National Commendation for UK Construction Site Manager

Genesis Homes’ construction site manager Joe Scully has received a commendation at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Warranty Site Manager Awards for the 55-home Becklestones development in Rheda North Park, Whitehaven, Cumbria.

All finalists for the awards were assessed on a number of criteria that included general co-operation, health and safety, tidiness of the site, standards of site management and quality of workmanship.

Joe says: “To make the final of such a prestigious award when the standard of site management across the country is so high is something I am really proud of.

“I always strive for the highest standards at every site I work on, and for professionals in the industry to rank my workmanship and quality so highly is just amazing.

“Having such a good team around me at Genesis Homes makes the job so much easier, and this award is high praise for the great work that is carried out here on a daily basis.”

Nicky Gordon, Genesis Homes’ managing director, adds: “Joe is a real credit to Genesis Homes and he takes great pride in achieving high standards across all his work. He has a real passion for delivering quality homes and creating thriving communities.

“He is a great asset to the company and a real shining example to other members of staff, and we wish to congratulate him on gaining much deserved recognition for his hard work.”
