Savills IM Announces New Head of Client Capital for the Netherlands

Savills Investment Management has hired Jan Willem Vis as Head of Client Capital, Netherlands.

Based in Amsterdam, Vis will report to Giuseppe Oriani, Co-Head, Client Capital (EMEA) and work alongside Edgar Hertog and Marcel Fleminks – Co-Heads of Savills IM’s Netherlands operations, in a role that will develop client relations in the region.

With over 20 years’ experience in global listed real estate, Vis joins Savills IM from BNP Paribas Asset Management, where he was Head of Global Listed Real Estate. Prior to this, he was Co-Head of European Listed Real Estate at ABN AMRO Asset Management, a predecessor of BNP Paribas Asset Management. He also previously worked in various other portfolio and risk management roles in European listed real estate at the firm.

Vis says: “Savills IM has a proven track record and enviable reputation across the global real estate industry. I look forward to working alongside our established team in the Netherlands and global investment team to further develop our proposition in the region and continue to serve our investors’ needs.”

Giuseppe Oriani, Co-Head, Client Capital (EMEA), adds: “Jan Willem’s extensive knowledge and experience across the European and Global Real Estate sectors will prove invaluable as we look to further enhance our offering and client relationships across the Dutch market.”
