Non-combustible Cavity Tray System Wins Housebuilder Product Award

An innovative cavity tray system from Keystone Group subsidiary Keyfix has been recognised with a 2022 Housebuilder Product award.

Selected for an award in the “Best Site Product” category by an independent panel of judges, the Keyfix Non-Combustible Cavity Tray System creates watertight joints without tape and mastics, therefore eliminating a primary cause of seal failure. In the United Kingdom, the solution is included on The National House Building Council (NHBC) ‘Accepts list’, and has also received Premier Guarantee and Local Authority Building Control (LABC) approval for compliance with Approved Document B of the Building regulation in England.

KeyKeyfix managing director, John Duffin, says: “This is fantastic news and a huge achievement for us as a team. We worked incredibly hard to develop a non-combustible system which meets the needs of regulators, insurers, warranty providers, developers and installers and this award is testament to that. Our hard work and innovative product deserve this accolade.”

Award winners will be invited to attend a private lunch on June 9th in London, and will automatically be shortlisted as finalists for the Product of the Year category of the Housebuilder Product Awards later this year.
