Envoy Expands Hot Desking Features for Hybrid Employees

Listen to this article
Envoy latest additions to its hot desking platform bring a personalized touch to hybrid working by allowing emloyees to tailor their experience via the addition of favourites, photo profile, multi-day scheduling and “desk” features.
The updates also allow admin and workplace teams to complete tasks more efficiently with its admin booking and neighborhoods and proof of vaccination for visitors.

With these additions, employees can conveniently prioritize teammates they work with most often, marking them as “favorite” coworkers – seeing when they’re in and where they’re sitting, invite them into the office, and be notified when they plan to come into the office. They can also set a repeating schedule to book a preferred desk days or weeks in advance and find the right desk by filtering for amenities like dual monitors, standing desks, or ergonomic seating.

The Envoy platform is being used by companies of all sizes from startups to multinationals to reopen safely and manage hybrid workplaces. According to the company’s recent At Work report, workplace traffic has increased fourfold since the lockdown lows of May 2020. Additionally, nearly half of office workers surveyed say they’re excited to see coworkers in-person and collaborate. As employees are returning to the office in greater numbers and at a faster pace, their expectations are also increasing.
